Join us for our annual Thanksgiving volunteer event. The whole family is invited to take part in the "Bake, Take & Rake” event sponsored by the Crossroads Church of Aurora. Our group will be raking the yard of a local Veteran in honor of Veterans Day! Feel free to come solo, with your kid(s) or bring the whole crew. Let’s put those FIT4MOM muscles (and maybe some kid and dad muscles) to work to help a local Veteran!

*All ages are welcome! It is totally up to you if you want to bring little ones along!

• What to bring:
• Rake for each participant
• Leaf blower and tarps, if you own them!
• What’s provided from Crossroads Church:
• Lawn Bags
• Baked goods for Veteran Gift Bag (including a flag)
• Notes of encouragement for us to fill out at the Veteran's home

Timeline: Address will be texted to participants at 9AM on 11/8. Raking will start around 10AM.

Location: Veteran's home location is TBD. Crossroads is around Commissioner's Park so we will be within 15 minutes of the church (South Naperville, Aurora, Oswego).

Donuts & coffee will be served after our hard work.
