I have been married to my hubby, Josh, for 14 years. We have 3 beautiful, fun strong-willed girls- Sophia 12, Brianna 10 and Emma 8
How long have you been a member of F4M Naperville? What made you come to your first class and which classes have you participated in?
I joined Fit4Mom in January of 2021. I was looking for a way to want to exercise. I looked at the BW program online then messaged Lauren. I said, "I'm 40, haven't worked out in a while and don't have little babies, is Body Well something for me?" Nina wrote back with and emphatic " YES!!"
From the moment I showed up to Nina's garage for measurements and pictures, I knew this would be different. Nina was genuinely invested in my health and well being. I did Body Well for a year and then moved to Boost. Over they years I have attended Ignite, Boost, Ignite/360 mash-up and dropped back in to sessions of Body Well. I'm a teacher, so during the summers, I try to attend some of the week day classes with my big babies
What are your favorite things to do with your family?
We love being busy! During the summer, the girls and I are constantly on the go, swimming, parks, zoo, everywhere. Our family also loves to camp in the summer. Our favorite place to camp is in St. JOSEPH Michigan. In the winter we try to fill our time together with board games and movie nights- plus ALL the kids activities and homework.
What would you say to a mom considering joining our village?
Do it! Whatever you are looking for, you will find it here. Accountability for workouts learning about health and nutrition reason to leave the house with baby mom friends and people who understand where you are in life and care about it
What has been your biggest gain since joining FIT4MOM Naperville?
My biggest gain continues to be the strength I have worked so hard for, both physical and mental. And the cheerleaders I have gained as friends. No matter what I am going through, walking into a fit4mom class, it instantly raises my spirits and wraps me in love and support.
